Event Information
Where Specifically: We have secured a 40′ tent that will be placed on The Hill. The Hill is where Keeneland has officially sanctioned all ‘tailgating’. It’s located adjacent to the Entertainment Center and Keene Barn and is accessible via Gate 1 at no charge. Look for the Kappa Sigma banners and flags.
Agenda: The entire function will happen at Keeneland to minimize travel
* The tent will be open for everyone starting at 10am.
*A hello, welcome, update at 12pm
* We will have a catered lunch available including barbeque pulled pork, pulled chicken, green beans, baked beans, sandwiches, chips, mixers , etc.
* Complimentary shuttle service is available to the grandstand area for anyone going inside
* Please know that all drinks are BYOB. This is a safety rule and enforced by Keeneland for any organized event.
* The function will end after the races and everyone can meet up either at the hotel or bars in the area.
Costs: $15 for undergrads, $25 for alumni and parents.
