Kent Mills '80

Graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Mills went to graduate school at UK for Banking. He went to lending school at The University of Oklahoma. He also attended graduate school at LSU. After school, Kent became the Assistant Vice President for People’s Bank and Trust. He was the Market President for Old National Bank for 20 years. Kent is now the Hopkins County President for Independence Bank. 

The best thing he took from Kappa Sigma was the networking and true friends that have lasted for many years. Kent has devoted much of his life to volunteering. He is on the Board of the Hopkins County Family YMCA. He was past president for Madisonville Hopkins County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Kent was a board member for Baptist Health and was on the Eagle Scout Review Board. He is currently serving on The University of Kentucky Alumni Association Board of Directors.
