Beta-Nu Chapter Brings Home Three Awards from the 2016 Kappa Sigma Leadership Conference

Charlottesville, VA. The Beta-Nu Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity took home three prestigious awards at the General Fraternity’s Leadership Conference in July in Orlando, Florida. The delegates from Beta-Nu Chapter were among over 1,550 undergraduates in attendance from across North America. The Beta-Nu Chapter was recognized in the opening session of the Leadership Conference for being ranked as the 21st best Chapter in Rush for the 2015-2016 academic year by taking a total of 56 pledges for the year.

The Chapter was also awarded with Kappa Sigma Fraternity’s Champion Quest Award by meeting the criteria of having a membership of over 60 men or the largest on campus. The Chapter’s roster stood at 105 men at the end of the 2015-2016 Academic Year. “I am proud of the performance of these Brothers in the critical areas of recruitment and academics. These are two areas that certainly determine the Chapter’s sustainability. There is nothing that is more important than consistently showing the Chapter’s ability to build its membership. The academic success will speak volumes to the administration and faculty…which is so important. I look forward to hearing of the Chapter’s continued success during the course of this academic year”, said Executive Director Mic Wilson (Beta-Nu ’78, Kentucky).

Beta-Nu also claimed an Academic Excellence Award for the Fall 2015 with a Chapter GPA OF 3.10.

Please extend best wishes and congratulations to our Beta-Nu undergraduates by writing to Grand Master Tyler Ware.
