Beta-Nu Update

Following several years of Code of Conduct violations, the undergraduate members of Beta-Nu established a Recommitment Plan in March 2026 to realign with Kappa Sigma and leverage support from a strong Alumni Advisory team.

During this process, a Membership Review was held on April 11th, involving internal and external alumni to assess the chapter, which ultimately left 44 undergraduate members in good standing.

On April 18th, Beta-Nu had a Show Cause Hearing in front of the Supreme Executive Committee (SEC) and Commissioners.

The SEC was not convinced of the chapter’s future and tabled a decision until the National Fraternity Leadership Conference, which will take place July 17th – July 19th.

Beta-Nu is required to have 50% attendance with at least 1 ritual certificate to appear again before the SEC for another hearing and prove why they should keep their charter.
