Scott P. Shirley ‘85

Vice President, Marketing Operations & Chief Marketing Manager at Nissan North America Inc.

Scott Shirley was initiated into the Beta-Nu Chapter of Kappa Sigma in 1985, and was an active member and leader for the fraternity during his four years on campus. Scott graduated in the fall of 1987 from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Scott began his career at Nissan where he has spent nearly 30 years holding a number of roles of increasing importance throughout Nissan’s sales, marketing, and dealer operations. Today, Scott serves on Nissan’s Global Brand Council and is the Vice President of Marketing Operations and Chief Marketing Manager. While Scott is a successful businessman and has excelled in his career at Nissan, he is also a husband to Valerie and father to two sons, Sam and Jack. Scott and his family currently reside in Brentwood, Tennessee where he stays involved in his community serving as the chair of a parent/patient support group for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
