William M. Corum ’63

Brother Corum served Beta-Nu as Guard and Grand Master of Ceremonies while an undergrad. He was also active on campus with the UK Dorm Council, Men’s Glee Club and the University of Kentucky Chorus. He graduated from the UK College of Commerce – now the UK College of Business and Economics – with a BS in Commerce in 1964.

Bill is currently the President of Corum Farms in Madisonville, Kentucky. He was past President and CEO of Goldenrod Dairy Foods, also in Madisonville, a family owned regional processing and packaging company which was acquired in 1998 by Dean Foods, a Fortune 500 company.

Corum is a past president and Honorary Life Member of Dixie Dairy Products Association, Inc. and has served on the Board of Directors of the Southern Association of Dairy Food Manufacturers.

Bill received the 2006 local chamber of commerce “Volunteer of the Year” award and the 2014 Kentucky Pennyrile Area Development District Bryan Memorial Award for his efforts to improve transportation in the Pennyrile Region of Kentucky. He is a member of the Advisory Board of US Bank and serves of the Board of Directors of I-69 Advocacy Groups C-Link and Bridgelink. He is a Past President of the Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation and was Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee of Trover Health System when that organization merged with Baptist Health System.

Brother Corum served over 24 years on the UK National Alumni Association Board of Directors and was a 2002 recipient of the UK Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award. He is a member of the UK Advocacy Network.
