Bryan Jones '76 graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1979 with a degree in Political Science before attending law school at his alma mater, earning his J.D. in 1982. Today, he serves as Division Manager for the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Bryan began his legal career journey as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Daviess County, soon moving up the ranks to become Assistant Attorney General (Special Prosecutions and Criminal Appeals), and finally to his current role as Division Manager. Outside of Bryan’s busy schedule, he enjoys reading, jogging, and traveling, and recounts the following memory, “I once rode the train from Venice to Naples, with a stop in Bologna, but I was unable to get off of the train!”
Bryan was a remarkably active member of Kappa Sigma during his undergraduate years. Holding the positions of Grand Master, Grand Scribe, Grand Master of Ceremonies, Pledge Class President, and Vice President at Large for the Interfraternity Council, while also being a committed member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, he left a positive impact on the chapter and the University of Kentucky campus.
